Canadian International AutoShow February 16th-25th, 2007
February is here, and hopefully will be gone as fast as it came. But there's always one good thing about February -- the AutoShow. It's huge, it's indoors, and it's pretty much got something fun for everyone.
Granted, the AutoShow isn't 'cheap' at $20 a ticket, but there are deals and discounts to be had. If you have a President's Choice MasterCard, you can save $5 off admission, so you only pay $15 and you have the convenience of not having to line up outside for tickets. Order them online here. You can also buy up to 4 tickets for $14 here.
If you're really strapped for cash, there's a daily ticket giveaway on the official AutoShow site.
If you're driving to the AutoShow, take advantage of Nissan's free parking lots at Harbourfront Centre. Parking is free weekday evenings from 6-11 pm, and both weekends from 10 am - 11 pm.
For more info on the event, ticket prices, directions and all that other fun stuff visit AutoShow.ca

Burrito Boyz: Worth Their Weight
The buzz surrounding Burrito Boyz has been steadily increasing since they launched their first restaurant in downtown Toronto on Peter Street back in 2004. It didn't take long for the lines to swell outside the small no-seating location out onto the streets during weekday lunch hours. Since then, the Boyz have opened another location in the middle of the club district on Adelaide, this time with seating. Both locations can get extremely busy, especially during peak periods at lunch and club closing times, but these burritos are well worth the wait.
The menu is simple, and the lack of choice is more than made up for in pure expertise. These burritos are huge, solid, and packed with flavour. They come in two sizes, 6" and 10" flour tortillas, with a choice of chicken, beef, or vegetarian. Prices range from $4-$6. If you're thinking the 10", I'd plan on not eating for the rest of the day, because they are ridiculously filling and weigh in at over a pound. The hot sauce lives up to its name, so use with caution.
Locations:
120 Peter Street at Richmond
218 Adelaide Street at Simcoe
